I hate that I have to use that title, but we desperately need to win this! My Dad was diagnosed with leukemia a few months ago and because of this he had to leave his job. To help our family, we severely cut back on our budget. One of the things we cut was photography.
Please take a second to help us win an amazing photography package. The voting will literally take less than 30 seconds. You just need to vote for Melissa and Josh here: http://gwendolyntundermann.com/blog/2011/02/01/2011-wedding-photography-giveaway/ Scroll all the way to the bottom to cast your vote.
There is only one vote per computer. So you can vote from your phone, from home, and from work! Please spread the word! Thank you all for your help and support. I will keep you updated with the results!

I have a friend who has battled leukemia, and keeps on fighting year after year.
People like you make me sick.
Why don't you start saving your money to pay for photography rather than pimping out your dad's illness for sympathy votes?
Disgusting.
Or... to really help your family... you could, you know, pay for your own weddings? Just a thought.
Your trailer park is showing.
This! I lost my mother to cancer at a very young age, I find you disgusting and people like you make me worry about ever having a daughter that would turn out like you. wow. I've seen a new low in people by reading your post. Sick to my stomach.

My father died of leukemia, and the thought of you using your fathers illness for personal gain is disgusting to me.
I not only voted for another couple, I plan to contact the organizers of the contest in the hope of getting you disqualified.
If you are even a real poster, you digust me.
My father is currently dying of cancer, and he was very sick with it when i had my wedding. Your priorities are all out-of-wack.
You should be spending time with your father, not using his sickness as a ploy to get free things for your wedding. You make me want to throw up.

I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
So you've had to come over here, because TK wouldn't keep your posts up? Seriously, have some shame.
No way in hell.
Do not mess in the affairs of dinosaurs because you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
STOP spamming the boards whether it be TK or TN. It is against the rules. How dare you use your Dad's illness (and God only knows it it is true) to get money for your wedding.
Save and host your own damn wedding. Now go away, please.
Good thinking! I hope she does get disqualified.I can't get her out of my head 2 days later. I picture my mom on her death bed when she was dying of cancer and how i felt so helpless and how this woman dares to use her fathers illness is just disturbing to me.
Erin and Jason are a cute couple I hope they win! (Yes, that's who I voted for)
I also think all you ladies should go back and read the comments from the admin of the contest wrote. About how all 4 of her grandparents died of cancer and she would want to have pictures. So you should think twice before you call someone selfish.
Sorry but you shouldn't use an illness as an "excuse". and it's not even yours! There's nothing wrong with old fashioned hard work and savings....It might even be more satisfying that way, then having something handed to you.
OP, when you told the contest admin that people were being mean to you on here (assuming that was you) Did you also tell them you posted this 34 times on TK alone?!
I just wanted to say congratulations to you! I'm assuming you have reached your remission <:
I had non-hodgkin's lymphoma at 23 and went through a ton of chemo, rads, and a stem cell transplant using my own cells (auto) I'm 32 now and cured <: living life <:
This kind of post above is very sad! I'm sorry if her dad is sick but to use him and his sickness is gross. She posted all over the knot!
