What should I make for Fin's birthday party?
So... I'm having a lot of freaking cake. Aside from that... I think I'll make hot caprese dip, and a bunch of buffalo chicken for sandwiches (has anyone made this for a group before??), maybe a pasta salad?... What else?
I was all gung-ho about planning, until I ordered the cake... and now that's all I care about... LOLOLOL!
It mostly adults, maybe 3 kids and Finley.

Re: What should I make for Fin's birthday party?
How many people are you expecting? Do you want it to be simple foods people can just grab and munch on?
I've never made buffalo chicken sandwiches, but I'm thinking maybe you could have a sandwich staion-type setup where people could make their own sandwiches. Buffalo Chicken, Tuna Salad, Turkey/Ham, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Mayo.
Hummus with pretzels and/or veggies
Pigs in a blanket
I like the chicken sandwich idea (just be sure to use thighs instead of breasts so they don't dry out).
For our housewarming party we did something similar with pulled pork and slider buns. Just keep the meat on warm in the Crockpot...worked like a charm.
Here's the rest of my menu from the housewarming party.
That hot caprese dip is ridiculously good!
I also like the pigs in a blanket (only, be sure to make a lot - these are always the first to go)!
Bella's Bistro - My Dairy Free Food Blog
There will probably be between 25 and 30 people.
I just want snacks and easy stuff to eat/make I guess

Definitely. That recipe stays ridiculously moist with the sauce.
