What's your weekend look like?
My weekend started early today because we had a fake snow day. It was supposed to snow overnight in Houston and everybody freaked out and closed everything. There was some ice on the roads, but it's all fine now.
My weekend is going to be about baking and cleaning the apartment. We're moving 2 floors up in a few weeks because the rent is cheaper, so I'm starting to purge our closets now.
What is everybody else up to this weekend? Any fun Superbowl plans?
Re: What's your weekend look like?
I didn't get a sub job for today, but I am tutoring this afternoon from 4:30-6. Basically it consists of me checking the 6th grader's homework, working out of an ISAT practice book, and doing additional practice in areas she needs help with. After tutoring H and I are going to go work out then have a late dinner at home.
Saturday- I teach 2nd grade religious ed from 8:30-9:40. H works until noon. That's where our scheduled plans end for the weekend. We'll probably clean a little bit, finish up laundry, and relax.
cleaning, lots of cleaning. and visiting with my family. i think thats it! no football for us - we dont like it

Yes! Haha, I love to purge closets. I just to "help" Devin go through his clothes to donate and throw away. I feel so accomplished when I'm done. I'm tackling the hall closet next.
haha we had a fake snow day today too!! I'm not complaining though, it was nice to be able to sleep in with DH b/c his classes were canceled too!
I'm not sure what we are doing tomorrow anymore, we were going to go to a town about 45 minutes from our house that does something called "First Monday" and it sounds like its this huge farmers market type thing. It sounds like a lot of fun but I don't know if it will be too cold to go now, and too slushy with the snow melting.
Sunday we are having a Super Bowl party at our place. I'm kinda nervous b/c some of the girls from work are coming over too, I hope they get along well with the grad students. They just don't seem like they are into the same stuff to me but we are mostly going to be eating and watching the game and stuff so hopefully it all goes ok! I'm nervous though!!! haha
Tonight DH and I are making a romantic dinner and just chilling. It's been a looong week.
Tomorrow I've got some schoolwork to do and a few errands to run. At night DH and I are going out to eat with his father's cousin, who is also a dentist and my hubby has been corresponding with about Dental School. I'm almost nervous because its at a really fancy restaurant and I've never met these people.
Sunday is schoolwork and a family party for the Superbowl. I go for the commercials, mainly. :-)
On an unrelated note...it cracks me up whenever I write "DH" because those are actually my hubby's initials too. haha!
