:::Mary:::

Any thoughts on why my low back/hips would hurt after being sick all night? (Throwing up and The big D) Lucy passed it on to me....

I'm feeling much better this am but my back is bothering me, like an annoying medium dull ache

Re: :::Mary:::

  • Hmm, not really. Unless you were using accessory muscles while vomiting etc. But low back would be kind of odd for that. It could just be the virus in your body. I hope you feel better soon!
  • I had this a few weeks ago. It took about 5 days until I felt semi-normal again. I had the same pain. It went from my shoulders to my lower back and hips. It was painful to sleep on my side they hurt so bad. The pain should only last a day or two. I just attributed it to the virus.
  • ::butting in::

    when I had food poisoning in 2009 and threw up for about 8 hrs straight, my lumber region was killing me (from around the end of the puking and another 12 hrs).I assume it was from the muscles spasming as I puked.

    hope you're feeling better!
