Mother Nature says "Surprise!"

Seriously...I know I can't be the only one caught totally off guard by this crap outside!  And of course, you'd think common sense would have prevailed and I would have stayed home and inside today, right?  Nope...had to meet a friend for lunch...all the way out to Perrysburg.  And it seems like everyone in this city decided to go for a drive today.  Good times.  Surprised though that between west Toledo and Perrysburg, by surface street, I saw only one accident:  an Ottawa Hills cop.  I think he may have got rear ended and turned around....or he spun out on his own.

  • I thought we were supposed to get 1-2 inches. We got about 8 inches here, I was definitely surprised!
  • Sounds like it was worse up there than it was here, but I thought we were only going to get flurries... we got prolly 3-4 inches

Wow!  That's it?  We probably have about six to eight inches from yesterday.  C went to a concert in Detroit last night.  He met at a guy's house just across the line in Michigan, so it should have only taken about forty five minutes to get there.  It took three and a half hours.  At least the weathermen did recognize they made a big mistake.  Maybe now they will stop playing the stupid "We forecasted better than you did," commercials...
