How do you clean your stainless sink?

Re: How do you clean your stainless sink?

  • I sprinkle a little baking soda into it, moisten a sponge with some dish detergent, scrub and rinse. Then dry with a rag to prevent water spots.

  • If I'm really cleaning it, I fill it with hot bleach water let it sit for 30 mins or so, rinse, use a moistened sponge with some softscrub creme, rinse, dry, and then finish off with a stainless steel creme ( I got t from the $ store, it is meant for silver appliances and preventing fingerprints, and smudging but helps with the water spots- we have REALLY hard water) OR finish with glass cleaner and a dry rag. Just make sure your sink is well rinsed if you use the glass cleaner b/c of the ammonia in it.
  • I use Soft Scrub with Bleach and it makes it sparkle like a diamond :-)

  • I use Bar Keepers Friend. It works great.

  • Bar Keeper's Friend with a Magic Eraser.

  • Spray some Chlorox cleaner with bleach, let it sit 5 min, wipe it down with a rag. Spotless!

This and a washcloth with water. All you need!

Toothpicks to get in the grooves around where the drains and faucet connect too.

  • This cleaner is amazing, I love it.

  • I use get the sink damp and use baking soda. I then rinse it and spray with vinager and run the magic eraser over it and dry it out. I'm sure the magic eraser is over kill since I just scoured with baking soda, but it makes me happy. And the vinager disinfects.
