My brother is not moving out this weekend...
But he does have a very good reason for that. My husband and I are down to just one car because his broke down some time ago and it will cost too much to fix it so we are saving money to get him a new one. So I am leaving the house on Friday to go pick him up from work and I see my brother's truck in the driveway. The front end was completely smashed in! I walked back inside to see if my brother was there and he was not. I go outside to look at how bad it is and the whole frame is bent, lights smashed, the hood is bent, etc. I text my brother asking him if he is okay. Nothing so I called him. Still nothing. At this point I am really worried and thinking he is not answering because it is me (we have not spoken since I talked to him about the rent thing last weekend) so I call my sister and ask her to get ahold of him.
She calls him and talks to him. Well she must have said something because when I got home and asked he was talking to me. A Lincoln town car tried pulling into the gas station hoping to not get hit by his big truck. Bad news is the Lincoln is totalled. We do not know about my brother's truck yet. We are still waiting to hear from his insurance company. My brother says it will be close and I feel kind of bad for him because he is 5 payments away from paying off his truck that he has been paying for 5 years.
Some of you may be wondering well can he still drive the truck even with the damage? He cannot because his radiator cracked and was leaking pretty badly. Oh and he is okay. The truck...not so much.
I did find out that he has been looking at places and may have found one! So we shall see...There will be a party at my house when he moves out ;o)

Thankfully he's okay, and hopefully they can fix up his car.

It does stink that he was so close to paying it off. My ex totaled his truck three or four payments before it was paid off, and refused to finished paying on it. "Why should I pay for something I don't have??" Umm, I don't know, maybe because it's in my name too and you're effing my credit? I still don't think he's paid it off. I even called and told him if he could settle with the company for less, I'd split it with him. Just one more reason he's the ex. :P Oh, and he left it on the backroad where he totaled it (hit a tree) overnight. Soooo, it was broken into, cd player ripped out and most of the stuff in the truck stolen. What'd they leave? The change cup that had his wedding band on top of it. Awesome.

I am a b!tch too Xan, I was thinking the exact same thing! This is exactly what I was thinking, now you are going to be stuck with him for another 6 months. I am glad that he wasn't hurt and I know first hand how bad car accidents suck, but you guys were so close to having your coupledom (lol I think I made that word up) back!
Its not only totally crappy for your brother because his car is probably totaled, but it is totally crappy for you too! Well at least you think he may have found a place....hopefully things work out $$-wise with the car and the new place.
