Weekend happenings
So...now that we're able to get out and about, what has everyone been up to this weekend?
Yesterday, I went up to the school to help break it free from the snow drifts. After that, we went to lunch at Zorba's and ran into some friends, then we saw No Strings Attached. (surprisingly funny)
Today is the usual lunch and groceries, I guess. Laundry. Nothing special.

Today we are just hanging out. Will probably try to go play outside and do laundry. Have to go back to work tomorrow.
BIrthday weekend. We went and saw No Strings Attached as well. Very good movie. Had sushi for dinner.

Yesterday, I cleaned house, did some homework, and went to dinner and a pageant with a friend. We hadn't seen each other in a while. It was great to catch up.
Today, I am being lazy. I need to go to the grocery store, but I am not looking forward to the crowds. I may go to my parent's later.
Today we're still enjoying getting to be lazy. I'm doing a little cleaning and we'll probably watch another movie. We'll probably watch the super bowl tonight, too. We were suppose to have a dr appointment Friday but it was rescheduled for tomorrow so we have 1 more day off before we head back to work.
I've been cleaning pretty much the whole weekend. DH invited some friends up to watch the game tonight, and it was the motivation needed to deep clean the house. DH had to work yesterday to make up for one of his snow days earlier in the week, otherwise I would conscript him to help...the redo it since his version of clean is not up to my standards.
Yesterday I finished a book then we watched some of our DVRed shows from earlier in the week. I also went out in the snow boots to the back yard and redistributed some of the big snow drifts so it would melt faster...I'm such a dork.
Yesterday we ran errands including going to the grocery store which was pure craziness! DH had one of his friends over to watch the Thunder game - those two crazy boys bought some of those Four Loco drinks and DH's friend spent a good two hours throwing up - then they ordered Shuttle. Good Lord.
Today, we ordered some sexy stuff off of VS for Valentine's day. My husband has NEVER shown an interest in those sort of thing so I jumped on it.
And can't wait until we get our shipment.
We went out for sushi Friday night. I had a stocked kitchen, but we were so tired of "snowed in" food--i.e. beef stew, chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese. We needed some flavor and spice!
Yesterday I went to my cousin's house for one of those purse parties. I don't buy stuff at those, but it got me out of the house and I ate some great snacks.
Last night was DH's aunt's birthday, so we went out to eat for that.
Today I went grocery shopping (crazy) and took a nap. No church. I have to finish grading some essays tonight.
Friday I had my hair done, lunch with a friend, and ran a few errands before going home and doing nothing extraordinary.
Saturday I went to the Ree Drummond book signing. Boy does she have some crazy, weird hardcore fans... anyway, that was fun and I met some new cool people, so that was cool.
Then last night DH and I went to dinner. We headed to Norman, but long story short.. ended up having a very mediocre dinner at Louie's in Moore.
Today I slept until noon, went riding (way muddy), went to the grocery store, came home, made dinner, and now... nothing. Praying we get massive amounts of snow this week so work gets closed at least one day!
