anyone have cracked heels?
what kind of lotion do you use? In the winter I get such dry cracked heels and I have tried several creams and nothing really works. Anyone have this same problem? TIA
Re: anyone have cracked heels?
I love the Neutrogena Norweigan formula hand cream, and have the foot cream, but my feet never get too bad, so I don't know how well it works on really cracked feet... But, the hand cream does wonders on my hands! -- http://www.neutrogena.com/product/body+-+bath/foot/foot+cream.do?sortby=bestSellers
We've also used Zim's Crack Creme (DH's feet get pretty bad). I prefer the actual cream over the liquid formula -- http://www.crackcreme.com/products/skincare/heelsandfeet/index.html
not sure if they still carry them at bath & body works but they used to carry gel-lined socks - you put lotion on your feet, then put the socks on. i used to like the gloves.
also, use an exfoliating soap and pumice stone in the shower. that really helps the dry patches on my heels. the neutrogena cream alicia suggested is very good.
Yep... looks like both have the gel socks (at least on their websites)

I bet we could have a contest, and I would win. I loathe shoes with a passion and my poor heels (and slowly the rest of my foot) take the brunt of it.
My dr suggested using this and either pumicing it in the shower every other day (but they get so bad it hurts) AND getting pedicures on the regular (right? LOVE HIM) It stinks (the lotion) but it works. I'll do it M W F (I can't sleep with socks on every night, I'd go bonkers) and it makes them soft like a baby's bottom
