Just a heads up

If you get a friend request on Facebook from a Chelsie Schuette, tis only me. I seem to find some of you randomly, and have started adding some of you. Love all your pictures!!!

Re: Just a heads up

  • I was going to add you but you didn't come up in the search.

  • I got fired once for some content in my profile - at the time, it's since been removed - so I put all the privacy stuff up and barricaded myself in like Fort Knox. I'll find you!
  • Ohhhh ok...completely understandable....I can be found on some of the girls pages :-)

  • You're pretty hard to find, yourself! I may have to take down a few walls so you can find me!
  • Ok, I fixed it so I'm searchable - didn't realize I had that one unchecked! I'll keep looking for you, though.
  • I found you lol

Okay you totally don't have to answer, but I'm a curious kitty, so I at least gotta ask...

Angry  I seriously hate it when companies creep on their employees like that. Unless someone posts up "Hey I just stabbed a baby and the cops haven't found me yet" I don't think they should have the right to fire someone. Even if a person is complaining about their job. Yeah people have bad days at work, it happens to the best of us. Get over it.

I hear that companies now are even putting things in contracts stating that you can be terminated for things posted on FB.

Long story, here's the short version. My first degree is in Paralegal Studies, and I interned at the local prosecutor's office. I didn't learn anything from the "job" (paid internship), since all I was doing was going through old files, separating stuff to keep and scan into a computer and what to shred, since the office was going paperless. The...girl...they had train me was at least 2 years my junior, a freshman in college, and talked down to me like I was an idiot for going to a community college (which she always said with a wilting tone to her voice. "Oh, you go to Ivy Tech" like I was diseased or something). Needless to say, about 2 months into it, I hit my boiling point, and vented about it on facebook. I called her a few 4 letter words, and thought I'd made it so only friends could see it. Apparently I was wrong, and the next day got called into the prosecutor's office, wasn't given a chance to explain, just hand over your security card, parking pass, and don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya. Oh, he also black balled me at every law office in the county, so I had to go back and get a different degree in order to find work in town. Thankfully, it's in something I love much, much more, and I've since written him a letter, thanking him for being an a$$hole so I could find my real calling in life, and to let him know that I'll never be voting for him again.

  • That He does, I just wish He'd had another job lined up for me before I got canned. The year of unemployment that followed drained my savings account.
