I figure that's about when this car will be driveable again. It's across the street from us, and the owners haven't dug it out during one single snowfall (or ice storm), and it just keeps getting plowed farther and farther in.
So... yeah... I'm thinkin' spring thaw.
Re: WDYT? April, maybe?
Woah. That's insane. It must be nice to not need your car for months.
April might be about right, but if we're placing bets, I'm taking my anniversary March 13th.
That is ridiculous. That's not even a junker. I can see if you have some crappy putzer that you don't want to drive in the winter, but that doesn't look like the case.
I'm going with March 17. (My birthday!)
Ok, maybe being a southerner with no "snow experience" means I have a misconception but doesn't that ruin the car? I thought there was salt and stuff in the snow from the streets that can rust a car out.
We used to live in Ohio and I remember my dad telling me you had to rinse your car off even in the winter. Isn't their car paint going to be ruined?
Sorry if I'm the ignoramous....

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
Up here, I'm guessing my birthday- March 30th for the melting in MA to be done.
That is, if we don't get snow in March.
We're already supposed to get another 6" on Tues and another 10-14" potentially this coming Friday.
Wheee.
probably not after one winter. I'm guessing that most of the snow around them is fresh fallen, and just on the one side is from snow from the plow. We haven't cleaned our cars off all winter. Plus if you were to spray water on the car, it would just freeze right now anyway.
The Sand in My Snow Boots
No kidding.
I forgot to add to my response.
Our CTO lives in Prague. He comes back here 1-2x month.
He leaves his little itty bitty car in our parking lot.
The last time he dug himself out, it would not start. I think there was probably 20" or so on it?
