As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  • monday: was planning on leftovers from tonight but those will be gone by lunchtime so now i need to figure something out . . .

    tuesday:  Chicken Schnitzel with Bacon & White Wine and a salad

    wednesday: not sure, maybe Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

    thursday: leftovers because i have my photography class that night

    friday: i'm dying to try PW's pasta with pancetta and leeks (corisa raved about his ages ago and i've been thinking about it since then)

  • Monday/Wednesday:  Roasted Tomatillo Chicken Stew with White Beans and homemade tomatillo sauce

    Tuesday/Thursday: Spicy Black beans with rice and mangoes

    Lunches:  I made a massive pot of minestrone soup with kale and extra beans in it. 

    We only prep two meals so that we plan to use it twice with leftovers.  It makes life much easier for me.  We have also been including beans and whole grains in every meal (something we were lacking on before) and are also doing 1-prepped meal a week as vegetarian.  We are going to be switching to organic meat once we use the freezer supply we have so doing a veg. meal during the week will help with the added expense that the organic costs.
