NKOTB and backstreet boys...just in case you wanted to know :-) I can't decide if this would be a blast from the past and to go or a total waste of money....I did sure like me some Joey.
Re: summer concert at Fenway
I, too, loved me some Joey...and I have friends that have gone to see them over the past few years since they've started touring again...but I just don't think I can do it...haha
We just got tickets to see Cake in April, though...excited about that!
I am going to Cake too!
3 of my best friends and I went to see them in high school so all of us are getting together this year, 10 years later, and going again.
My DH and I are also going to Dispatch this year which I'm so excited about too!
We are seeing them at the State Theater in Portland - so excited because it's such a cool place...we've basically been geekily stalking their line-ups to find a band we want to see, so we can go to a show there. I've never seen Cake, but I hear they put on an awesome show.
As an aside, I don't like that we can say we did x in high school TEN years ago...and actually, now that I've done correct math, I can't even say that anymore because I graduated in 1999!
Yes same here. They played at the State Theater 10 years ago too, it's such a great venue!
Haha I know what you mean about the 10 years. I graduated in 01 so June will be my "10 year reunion"-not that I am going haha
Listen people, if you find that depressing, how do you think I feel? I graduated from COLLEGE in 1997! I had my TEN YEAR COLLEGE REUNION FOUR YEARS AGO!
GROSS. I AM OLD.
lol...sorry about that! if it's any consolation (and I'm sure it's not), my mother turned 60 last weekend and she is living the high life now, all retired and whatnot...I'm quite jealous
Cake is a much better way to celebrate than a reunion
Another old biddy here, checking in! I'm pretty sure the NKOTB debut album happened when I was in the 6th grade. And my 36th birthday is in 17 days...that's the downward slope toward 40, folks. Yikes.
I'll be 35 at the end of this month. I won tickets off the radio to my first NKOTB concert at the Ballpark in OOB, back in Jr High. I loved Joey too!
My Wedding Bio! Not updated in a LONG time!
My first NKOTB concert was at the ballpark at OOB also!! My room was plastered with posters and I had a personal note from Danny Wood because my uncle worked with his brother... I thought I was so cool, haha.
When I was pregnant with DS I went to Boston to see them because my friend has free luxury box tickets.. I wasn't sure what to expect, and I had a BLAST! LOVED every moment of it, would go again if I had the chance!
I'm almost embarrassed to admit I went to twice that many
I was at all 3 of those shoes, though! We had the best time, my sister and I
I'd love to go again, but am not down with BSB doubling the ticket prices. I was a Donnie girl
