Morning Amy!
1. What is the 1 thing you are looking forward to in 2011? Having a baby or at least be PG.
2. Favorite food? sushi
3. Fave Movie? Steel Magnolias...makes me cry every.time.
4. Fave TV Show?comedy-Modern Family drama-Criminal Minds.
5. Best part about your job? Worst?Best part-not being micromanaged. I have lots to do and my bosses let me do it and know I can accomplish it! Worst-being non exempt which I have to clock in and out. It was fine before we changed to a 9/80 scheduled as I could get OT but not anymore. Boo.What did you think about the superbowl? Here is my rating:
Commercials-D (some were ok) Half time show-F Game-A+!!!!
Do you guys have tickets to any Sharks game? No, we are not season ticket holders (too $$) and we have not gone to any games this year and I doubt we will. If they make it to the Stanley Cup Finals-then of course we will reconsider. I actually work two blocks from HP Pavilion :-)
How many kitties do you have again? Two. Jewels who is 16 going on 5 and Patrick Marleau who is 5 going on 16.
What's your favorite movie? Since I said my fav drama movie, my favorite comedy is Old School.
What is your favorite season?Fall. Which we really do not have here in CA. More like an Indian summer.
What is your favorite vacation destination food?anything that is homemade.
What is your favorite comfort food (if different than your favorite food)?Mashed potatoes...god that sounds good right now. Even at 8:45 am!
Do you have any resolutions this year? Have you stuck with them so far? Yes and no. One is to be surrounded by positive people and it is working. I also vowed to exercise more but I just have kept up with the same 'ol routine. Actually, with my IUI, I have modified my workouts a bit.
What is your favorite character trait about DH? His sense of humor. He can make me laugh (to the point of crying) most of the time.
If you were stranded on a dessert island name 3 things you must have with you. My lipgloss, our wedding picture and a ponytail holder. A girl has go to look good even on a deserted island.

What part of California do you live in? I live in Santa Clara, CA ( a tiny town of San Jose) in Northern CA. It is about an hour south of SF. What do you like about it? I love the small city I live in! The utilities are MUCH cheaper but alas buying a house here is out of our reach (avg cost is $500K for a 2/2).
What accomplishment are you most proud of? Passing my CPS (certified professional secretary) exam this past November. That was a hard one and I studied and prepared really well!
If I gave you $50,000 to give to a charitable organization, who would you give it to?I would do it three ways- 1/3 to our local Humane Society (for my love of animals) , 1/3 to Susan G. Komen Foundation (since my mom was a 12 yr survivor of breast cancer) and the other 1/2 to the Alzheimer Association (since my mom died of early onset of AA).
if you had to move at least 500 miles away, where would you go? assume salaries and COL are equal everywhere
How did the IUI go? How are you feeling?
if you had to move at least 500 miles away, where would you go? assume salaries and COL are equal everywhere
Ugh. Well 500 miles by car is still in CA
. So I would move some place down So. CA. NOT in LA but surrounding areas.
How did the IUI go? How are you feeling?the IUI went great!! I am feeling fine. DH's numbers were MUCH better than the last two IUI's so I am feeling optimistic! I had a massage on Friday who focused on post-IUI massages and I LOVED it. I also abstained from alcohol this weekend (well during the 2 ww) which was really hard given the "beer" weather we had but it ok. I feel great not having any. So almost one week down, one more to go!
