Morning ladies! Hope everyone got some sleep after the game! Pretty boring weekend for us, only left the house Saturday to get dog food for Sadie and then yesterday did a ton of cleaning and purging. I started another goodwill pile, a couple trash bags of stuff and DH vacuumed and dusted the downstairs.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Re: Morning! Wknd Recap!
Sounds like a productive weekend!
I was sick allllllll weekend with a raging headache that nothing would cure. Stupid meds. It did go away yesterday evening so we were able to go to a friend's to watch the first half of the game.
Oh that sux. I got the worst sinus headache yesterday that left me nauseous. It was horrible, thankfully after 2 aleve and a nap I felt ok, but still not great.

Uneventful weekend for us. With Nick sick we didn't have any plans but I did get all the housework done and the one errand I had to run. I got our tax stuff all together to send off to my tax guy so that's nice. I hope we don't owe this year. Maybe the additional of Campbell will help out with that
I got my BM dress for the wedding I'm in in April. It needs a bit of alterations and I'm not really excited about that. I also decided to exchange the shoes for a 1/2 size bigger.
I didn't really see any superbowl commercials b/c of dinner and bedtime routine stuff then I was reading for the last hour of the game so I'll hopefully see some online today.

We filed yesterday! Even though the IRS won't process until Feb 14 since we itemize, I would rather be at the beginning of the pile. We are again getting a refund, but that's b/c we always do married, but hold at the higher single rate. I did just change mine a bit since the last 2 years we've gotten a big refund and neither included the home buyer credit since we missed the date by 3 weeks in 08.

I had a good weekend. Dh and I went out for an early Valentines day celebration/late christmas present on Sat. We went on a horse drawn sleigh ride which was awsome. It was a little chilly and the we had freezing rain for part of it, but it was still nice. Then we went out to dinner a a wonderful restaurant and then home to watch a movie. We were going to go out to a movie, but the weather was just too crappy so we stayed in. We'll go out sometime soon to a movie to make up for it.
Sunday we lazed around. DH did some school work and I did a little cleaning as well as some hunting for what baked good I want to make for Valentines Day.

We had a somewhat uneventful weekened.
Saturday - we got hit with abotu 5-6 inches which of course was NOT predicted (like at all) which I find funny since they predicted we would get hit with the blizzard snow and completely did not.
Saturday night - we went out to BWW which we have not done in a very long time, I was pretty pleased that I did so well though I couldn't really finish my 6 wings, dh was happy to help.
Sunday - usual errands and watched the superbowl together

I have been sick since Thursday. My head is soooo full of crap and now I'm developing a cough. I guess if I can't get it under control I'll be making an appt with my Dr. Sudafed has helped with the stuffyness, but I'm so tired....
Did enjoy watching the Packers win last evening. DH & I watched at home.
Hope you all are doing better than me LOL
Friday we went out to dinner with some friends who were in from out of town. After dinner everyone came back to our house and we stayed up playing Rock Band until like 1:30. I was exhausted!
Saturday we hit the gym, ran a few errands and then I spent most of the day in the kitchen cooking and prepping for our Super Bowl party. We went out to dinner and saw The Rite. It was great, but I definitely slept with my rosary under my pillow. That kind of stuff always freaks me out.
Sunday, we went to the gym and then came home and got ready for the party. It was a huge help having so much done the day before, I even had time to get my accounting homework done before people came over. We had a pretty good turn out, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We really spent more time talking and hanging out than watching the game. I didn't even catch the commericals.

OMG you are gutsy!! I have to change the channel just for commercials. I made the mistake of going to see The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and drove home with my dome light on.
I thought they did it really well. It wasn't over the top gorey or really extreme with special effects. It was just enough to make things eerie. Anthony Hopkins was AMAZING. Scariest part of the whole movie was watching his changes. Such a great actor.

Saturday I worked for a few hours. Went home and tried to nap but couldn't sleep. DH was home sleeping when I got home. Saturday night we just watched tv and went to bed early.
Sunday I didn't feel good, did a couple things around the house, and watched part of the Ghost Adventures marathin and the L&O:SVU marathon.
That's how the Exorcism of Emily Rose was, nothing really major at all, def no major special effects but holy cow it scared the crap out of me.
We had a very productive weekend! I worked on Friday night and made a crapload of money. Thank God we were busy since I only work once a week. Saturday we just hung out, watched movies, played with Ryan and cleaned all day. Yesterday we went on a family grocery shopping trip (DH, Ryan, my twin sister and me) and then had my sister and BIL over to watch the Superbowl.
It was a great weekend. I got to hang out with my sister, DH and Ryan a ton and they're my 3 favorite people on this planet, so I'm a lucky girl.
Also, I got a new tattoo last week and I love it!
I'm with you pooks - can't stand scary crap.
I didn't have any homework so Friday night I had some wine and played computer games until midnight. Saturday I had a long overdue coffee date with a friend that was lots of fun. Then went grocery shopping. Since Chinese New Year was last week, I attempted Chinese food for dinner. That didn't work so well. I couldn't find eggroll wrappers so I bought pie crust. Not quite the same thing. The egg drop soup was good though. Sunday the hubby went golfing so Jordan and I had Starbucks together and then baked a cake. We had a good time and then went to my inlaws to "watch" the game.
