Early Morning Visitor

This morning I am lying in bed when I think I hear someone walking. DH has already left for work and DS is sleeping in his crib. I assume it's the dog but just as I look down and see the dog laying on her dog bed, I hear " Momma, bar please!" DS got out of his crib and came into my bedroom to ask for a cereal bar! Guess he's ready for the big boy bed we got him this weekend!!

Re: Early Morning Visitor

  • hahaha, that is so cute. I can't even imagine them getting out of their crib! I guess he is letting you know its time ;)

  • Oh my goodness, that's great! Least he came to you instead of trying to get it himself :P Hopefully, the transition works well and he'll be settled before #2 comes!
  • I guess he really wanted that cereal bar :) I'm glad he made it out w/o getting hurt.

  • I'll admit when I saw the post title I thought we were going to get to meet the newest Maine Nestie!!!

That is too cute, Josh will do the same thing (except he is already in his big boy bed) but we usually see him at like 230am and he wants a drink of milk...Kids are so fun :)

  • OMG that's so cute (and scary haha).  I seriously think I would scream if Jake did that - I'm sooooo easily startled.

  • That is so cute and also scary! I feel like Eli could climb out of his crib any day now and it makes me so nervous. Love that he wanted a cereal bar. The first thing Eli says to us in the morning is usually "Muffin, please." Our boys could be great friends! :)

  • Yup, we hear Ridley opening up her door every morning (although she is already in a big girl bed).  I actually really love it.  It's fun to hear her get herself up and talk to her babies, etc.

  • Oh boy, that would scare me, as cute as it is!  We often leave the gate at the top of the stairs open at night.  Yikes!

We always make sure our gate is shut so Helen can't get in...she sleeps downstairs and we sleep upstairs!

  • I LOVE that he is so polite, too! "Bar, please." even though he just woke up! Awesome!
