My baby is growing up way too fast :(
He has been cruising along furniture, walls, and the like but last night he started pushing his walker. Once he realized he could do it he got so excited and was unstopable. He would walk a few feet and stop to clap for himself and then keep going until he needed to turn around. It was the cutest thing ever. We are going to have a walker before we know it. I'm so proud of him but so sad at the same time.

Re: My baby is growing up way too fast :(
Wow! That's an early walker!!
All kids are different and hit milestones at different times. Both my kids were really early walkers - by their eighth month they were trucking along. I attribute that to having older sibling(s) they wanted to catch up to (my ex had a young son when we got married). LOL But my brother's 13 month old shows no sign of walking yet.
But then, both my kids were crawling practically as soon as they could hold their own heads up - by the time they were five months old, they could move on with the best of them. My brother didn't crawl till he was almost a year old.
When my kids were babies, they didn't consider crawling an actual milestone. Do they now? Just curious.

Yep, babies do develop differently, and not in the same order. Nate's ahead of his cousin in some things, even though his cousin is older. Some things, his cousin is ahead. Some things, they're pretty much equal.
I don't know what are considered actual milestones, but the Dr definitely asked about crawling when Nate was that age.
