Vindicated (re: condo)
Remember how I was feeling a little insecure about the quick sale of my condo, mostly because my dad was being kind of jerky and saying that we should have waited for a better offer?
Well, I finally found out last night the sale price of another unit in my building, which sold about a week before we listed ours.
Keep in mind, this other unit is similarly renovated with wood floors and a new kitchen, 150 sq ft larger (big difference when comparing 550 sq ft vs 700 sq ft), and includes a parking spot which is worth about $20-25k in this area.
Final price: only $16k above ours. And they took about 3 weeks to sell.
We did good! And I feel vindicated.
Thanks again all of you for your words of encouragement. Now I KNOW we did the right thing, not to mention that the last two weeks of not having to stress about showings has been great.
