Anyone do anything exciting?

Friday I just worked, Saturday I worked in the AM then went out to dinner for a friends birthday in the evening. Yesterday I worked til 3 then we watched a movie then went to watch the super bowl... nothing too exciting, really.

i had to work sat and sun morning/afternoon, so my weekend was pretty uneventful.

My weekend was pretty nondescript...in fact I cannot remember what I did through most of it..hahah. Yesterday I did go visit my mom and then Monk and I went to dinner with Josh's mom while the guys went to watch the Super Bowl.

Unfortunately at some point in the past three days I must have slipped or slid on the ice and snow wrong and my back is sooo sore....I have no idea what I can take for it, but I did try tylenol and its not helping much. Got a call in to the Dr. about any other ideas she has to help with the discomfort.

mine was pretty status quo. I did the grocery store shopping Friday night for the first time since C was born by myself which was actually a nice chance to get out and Saturday we were supposed to get family/baby pictures done, but she canceled b/c of the weather which was a blessing in disguise b/c C had a clogged duct that was a nasty mess, so they would've turned out bad anyways. Yesterday we just chilled and had friends and their 2 kids over for dinner which was also a nice visit. I also started crocheting a beanie for C and I'm excited to see how it turns out.

cleaned a little, worked a little

two naps (yes!)

went sledding for the first time ever (really!), made a fire and had a picnic lunch in one of the shelters at Sidecut (fun!)

and made/ate way too much yummy junk foods for the superbowl

Our brand new roof started leaking and the dog we took in from my SIL used our bed as her toliet. It was an AWESOME weekend.

Friday we went shopping with my mom, saturday I went to Mercy Colleges open house and applied for nursing, we also played in the snow for awhile. Sun I did rocery shopping by myself : ) and we watched super bowl.

Friday I had my 20-week appointment...right smack in the middle of the day, so I went ahead and took the entire day off. Everything is fine with Baby B...lots of ultrasound pics, etc. Immediately after the appointment, DH took off for Columbus for weekend drill and I did absolutely nothing the rest of the day.

Saturday met a friend at Biaggi's in Perrysburg for lunch. I hadn't seen her in a few months - worked with her at the previous job then I got this one and in December she took a job in Cleveland. The most 'exciting' part of my weekend was driving there and back! Blah! I texted DH later that day and told him I was about to go out and figure out the snow blower!

Sunday, he ended up coming home in the morning to dig myself and our neighbor out. I vegged all day and skipped out on watching the Super Bowl because I'm still bitter about not getting there. Sounds like besides the game, I missed a horrible rendition of the national anthem and a blah halftime show. And the commercials weren't very impressive either.
