Discuss: The 50 most beautiful women in film

Here. Who do you agree with? Who do you not agree with?

I adore Grace Kelly. I think she is simply gorgeously and the definition of femininity.

My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: Discuss: The 50 most beautiful women in film

  • I think these lists are so subjective. I saw a lot of people on there who I thought are pretty but I wouldn't classify as being in the top 50 most beautiful women. And then there were omissions (for me personally) like Annette Bening, Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana, Julianna Margulies (I just think she's so gorgeous!), etc...
  • I think a lot of them are very pretty, some of them not. I don't really think Jennifer Lopez or Jennifer Connely  are great looking (I think they're "real life" nice looking, but not drop dead beautiful). I agree that Grace Kelly is gorgeous. Freida Pinto is so lovely, and so is Monica Belucci. They left out my favorite, Marion Cotillard. I absolutely love her!

  • Oh, I agree, Marion Cotillard should have been on the list. I disagreed with Kim Basinger. I certainly don't think she should be ranked at #3.

  • no ingrid bergman?  no kathryn hepburn?  kim basinger #3?  ali macgraw higher  than marilyn monroe?  i don't think so.

i agree w/ pp re: lots of "real life pretty" (anne hathaway) rather than breath taking beauty, and these lists are so subjective.   a lot of these actresses wouldn't be in my top 50.

  • Definitely very subjective. I am surprised to see that Julianne Moore is not there. She is always in these type of lists. Kate Winslet, too. Blake Lively? Really? Not to me she's quite ordinary looking to me. I would choose Alexis Bledel over her. I never found Farrah Fawsett or Angelina Jolie beautiful. Sophia Loren either although I know a lot of people do. I'm surprised Isabelle Adjani is there since she isn't well known to American audiences but she is beautiful. And what films has Brooke Shields been in besides Blue Lagoon when she was basically a child?
