where is everyone lately? We are in a dead spot again.
Is it the snow/cold? It is, isn't it?
How is everyone's day starting off? Mine is good so far. I have a meeting later this morning that depending on what kind of mood my boss is in, could go well or really badly. You just never know until you get in there. I also get to leave a whole 1/2 hour early today for another meeting I have; I'll take it!
Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm!!
Re: So...
Good morning to you!! I hope your meeting goes really well. Fingers crossed for a boss in a good mood!
My day has started out pretty good. I am taking a half day today, the family and I are going to get our passport stuff taken care of. We are headed to Europe in March (I know, I am a procrastinator...) so I am starting to get ready for that (aka freak out because I haven't submitted our passport packets yet).
Hope everyone's Tuesday is fantastic!
Yeah, the weather's got me feeling drained lately and it takes extra effort to motivate myself to do much of anything. I really do think that humans should be allowed to hybernate for at least part of the winter!
My day's started out ok, and I was thrilled to see some sunshine for a little bit. I'm also super annoyed because my car alarm went off repeatedly and woke me up. I'm about at my wits' end with it. We can't figure out how to disable it ourselves, and everyone I've talked to either won't attempt to fix it or will charge me at least $100 to look at it but then tell me they won't be able to figure out what's going on unless it goes off while it's there. First of all, I'm not even sure WHY they would need it to go off, except so that they can hear it for themselves (why? to prove I'm not imagining things?) and second, sometimes it won't go off for days and then it'll start going off repeatedly again. I need my car; I can't pay a mechanic to store it so they can sit with their thumbs up their butts waiting for my car to make noise.
Sorry. I needed to vent about that.
H's old car did this. It was annoying to say the least. We took it to the dealership (only after a really nice mechanic told us what was causing it over the phone) and had them disconnect the battery that is dedicated to the car alarm & the output to the horn/sound. Never happened again. But we had to pay a decent amount of money even for that, but that's b/c it was a Saab and everything costs a lot to fix.
