Your thoughts... (work related)

My boss has been all over me to fix a project.  I accept I didn't do the project correctly in first place, and have told her TWICE I don't know how to fix it or re-do it from scratch.  In other words, I probably wasn't the best choice in first place.  I've also told her someone higher than me offered to fix the project.

Both times, she's basically ignored what I said and pushed me to fix them.

In a slightly related note, she knows I'm not feeling well at all and wants them done tomorrow, in addition to another highly urgent project.

How do I handle this?

Cliffs: I've told my boss twice I don't have the skills to complete/fix a project and she's insisting I finish it ASAP.

My deal is that I am going to murder your puppies and piss on your rainbows. -diablesse Lilypie Premature Baby tickers

  • If you don't have the knowledge to fix it, you don't. I'd take help from someone higher up the ladder than me.

  • I would ask the higher up person to help and let them fix it since you're boss isn't listening to you. When it's fixed, it's fixed and save you and your boss both the stress. GL!

  • I recommend you give it your all. Never 1/2 @$$ a project--- you never know who is watching and can/ could give you a promotion at a different point in time. I believe in doing your best even when others are D-bags. It just shows how well you do under pressure. If  you don't finish- at least you can say you gave it your best shot. Work as best you can-- at the end of the day- you have to be happy with yourself.
