And I have a roller...how was your weekend?
SIL texted me this morning to tell me that Liam rolled over! Apparently, he promptly cried and refused to be put back down when she picked him up to comfort him (and for him, refusing to be put back down means clamping on to necks/hair with the strength of He-man).
In other exciting news, he had his first play date this weekend and then met his future wife (friends of ours had a baby girl just before Christmas), and we finally found a sport he doesn't care about, UFC...thankfully, since I'm not sure I could handle him doing MMA fighting!
Aside from the Super Bowl, did anyone do anything exciting this weekend?
Re: And I have a roller...how was your weekend?
We didn't do anything too terribly exciting this weekend. Just spent time together which is just what I needed.
So cool that Liam is rolling! Isn't it amazing how much they grow, change and learn each day? It is beyond strange to me how much my perspective of the world has changed now that I have a child. It's awesome- I love being a mom so much!
Seriously, every day with them is so precious because they change so fast!
How was your first week back at work? It gets easier, I promise, but there are still days I feel so incredibly guilty

The first week back was tough. Honestly though, I look at work as my grown up time and it makes me a better mom. I am excited to go home and just play with her and I have so much patience. When I am at work, I miss her but I know that she is in good hands (my SIL is watching her). I still play the lotto every week though. It would be awesome to collect my paycheck and have myself or my husband be at home with her. It's nice to dream!
I feel exactly the same way. And my SIL watches Liam, too

And Liam is still a free agent...no dowries have been collected or contracts signed
