Anyone have Valentine's plans?
We usually don't do anything except fix a nice dinner. This year I signed us up for a "paint and canvas" class on Saturday night. Basically you are taught 2 different paintings and can bring wine/snacks in. I wanted to do something different and get us out of our winter rut.
Re: Anyone have Valentine's plans?
Usually I do a really fancy meal and invite friends but this year with Ava I just don't want anyone over especially since we've had so much company. But we were supposed to go down and see H's mamaw and he was talking about spending the night on Sat which I do not want to do...I don't know why we can't go down for the entire day and come back and I can still cook dinner.
And then H's bro is having appendix surgery today and his mom will probably come to "take care of him" however he lives 2.5hours from us and somehow I get the feeling she'll end up at our house offering to babysit and I am NOT going for that.
We both hate eating out on Valentine's Day - same restaurants we always eat at - just super crowded.
We do Valentine's lunch when we can and other than that we don't really do anything.
You'll love the corks & canvas class though. There are two places here and it's so much fun!
Corks and Canvas sounds fun! My sister teaches at a place like that and loves it!
I dk what we're doing. I made a treasure hunt for DH to find his gift. And he said he won't be giving me mine until the actual day. boo.
Our friends are coming to stay with us Saturday night and I'm thinking of taking them downtown to a cute wine bar that opened up near us.
Valentine's day is such a crock! If you want to show me how much you love me:
A) Don't do it on a day "they" tell you to. Do it on a Monday. Or April 7. Or when I wake up in the morning.
Obviously, we don't celebrate Valentine's day.
That sounds fun! I'm not that creative. Are your clues just places around the house?
I'm excited about the painting class. Glad to hear others liked it!
We don't do V-Day. Overpriced prix fix menus, waiting hours for a table, being overcharged for flowers...no thank you!
We got engaged on the 27th, and usually use that date as an excuse to go out to a nice meal together. This year we're going to NYC for a few nights. Yay!

boo... i hate valentine's haters!
we're going out to dinner which we never do but i'm worried about the crowds so... i don't know. but we always do a little something. it's fun!
I have a 2 1/2 hour date with my professor and my classmates. There better be roses and chocolate and wine or else I'm walking!
The boy and I will prob do our typical Skype date. I'm not expecting anything special in the mail. He know I don't really like V-day.
