New Dog PIP

So I don't know if you remember my vent about my SIL being irresponsible about her dog:

We "took custody" of her dog on Friday night.  She is really sweet, but not housetrained.  Actually, she is not anything.  She hasn't been fixed, has no shots, her nails are super long, she doesn't know "sit".  Yeah SIL did a bang up job the last four months.

Anyways, she may not be taken care of or trained, but she is cute:

We renamed her Daisy (which sounds like her old name Maci so she responds to it).

Re: New Dog PIP

  • Ahhh!  So friggin adorable!  What breed is she?

EDIT: NM, I re-read the OP.  A Lab with those ears?  Really?  She seems so small.  Adorable though!  Hiya Daisy, now it's time to learn "sit". :)

  • girl, I just read your previous post for the first time and I now have a storming headache.

On a lighter note, that dog is pretty adorable :)  It sounds like you both are good with animals, hopefully Daisy takes well to training.

I'd almost tell you to start putting 'feelers' out there to your friends re: anyone that would like a lab in the coming weeks.  jesus.

Daisy is a chihuahua (sp?) terrier mix (her bark is terribly high pitched).  SIL's new dog that she tossed Daisy aside for is a lab.

  • Ahhh, gotcha!  Sorry that was one crazy story.

As soon as I saw the pic, I instantly thought Jack Russel Terrier (with some chihuahua ears).  Mixed breeds are the best!  Congrats on your new addition!

  • Congrats!! She's a cutie!  I like the new name better too!

I hope you can get her trained and all vaccined without too much difficult! Best of luck! Keep us posted!

  • OH Daisy is adorable. Good luck with getting her trained. She looks like a real sweet girl.

  • So sweet and cute! Daisy is a cute name too. Its so sad she has been so under cared for and good luck with the training. We are finally making headway with our 6 month old pup and it is such a relief.
