Is this a blog?

What do you consider TN or TK? DH always calls it my "blogging" and I guess I think of it as a message board.

WDYT?

Re: Is this a blog?

  • I usually call it a "forum" when I talk to Keith about something on it.  Or I say, "That wedding message board"  LOL

  • I just say that I am knotting or nesting.  He calls it a message board or forum though

  • I call it a message board.  A blog is done by one person or group of people presenting their perspective/theme, not a back and forth communication amongst a large number of disconnected people.

    This.

Though after we got married, for a while Nick just called it weird.

He's finally sort of understanding it a bit more.

  • I always tell Chris, "you know that message board I read..."

I agree with Erin about the blog - I keep a blog for our family and friends about my pregnancy (and of course will keep it once he's born).  That's totally different than this.  The only "interaction" there is when someone posts a comment.

    So I'm with you :)

Ken always kind of laughs when he asks what I am doing on the computer and I say "nesting"

  • I've always just called it a message board.

  • I agree with what Erin said. I guess we're a message board. That sounds crummy though. I think we're a cute little community.

I always just say I'm "nesting" though. Clinton knows what that means.

All of this for me!  I think of it as a message board, but refer to it as TN, and DH calls it "my blogging" but I'm on the same page as the rest of you as to what a blog is.  DH just doesn't understand.

Megan- would you be willing to share your blog with us?  I'm curious/noisy about the whole cycle of pregnancy from a mommy-to-be's POV
