Truck Day is HERE!!!!!!
Ok so those who do not live in red sox nation may be a bit confused but it is big around here. Today was the day the trucks left to head to Florida for Spring Training!!!!!! Spring here we come! People go to Fenway to cheer and send off the equiptment trucks. Pitchers and catchers in 5 days. Pedroia is due in. Ellsbury is already down there. Life is good! I can't wait! This is my time of year. I was actually worried because it was a Sox/Yankees game on our wedding day and I didn't want to miss it.

We decided on one game at Fenway this year, and then we're sticking to the AA and AAA games. Way more fun for like 1/3 of the price. Last year, we were two rows behind home plate in Manchester, and it cost less than a bleacher ticket at Fenway.
We go to Manchester all the time since we live in Nashua and can't beat the prices but it isn't summer to me unless I am in Fenway at least once. I heard a rumor that someone already is having hamstring issues....my bets are Drew. Can't be Ellsbury...he'd have a broken rib

I hear ya. But I've had such miserable times the last few times at Fenway, that I just can't get excited about it anymore. Actually, the best time I've had there was in the no alcohol section, where we were surrounded by older folks who had clearly been season ticket holders for years and all knew each other. They were scoring the game, and one woman was passing around homemade cookies and everything. It was awesome.
I'm so sad there's no Mike Lowell this year. He's my baseball boyfriend. I luuuurve him. And his eyebrows.
