I'm ordering wine online. There is a note on the website that states someone over 21 must be present to sign for the wine, wine will be delivered between 8 and 5.
I work between those hours, so no one will be home to sign. Should I have it shipped to my place of employment? It would feel weird. I've never had wine shipped before - is it obvious that the package contains wine?
Re: Shipping wine to work?
I had wine shipped to work before. No one thought anything of it, as I have most of my stuff shipped to work.
A few people made comments about it, but other than that, it was no big deal.
I'd let the receptionist know, so that she can be descreate about it.
Our receptionist doesn't sign for packages, our receiving does. I let them know it would be coming, and I'm "friends" with the head of HR and ran it by her today. It's a go.
