RFOTD

A hamster's teeth never stop growing.

I guess no one has ever realized this because hamsters never seem to live over 3 months! (Just kidding...although I was the one in Kindergarten who when the hamster came to my house for the weekend bought it all kinds of new goodies and returned him on Monday. Tuesday he was dead. Oops.)

Re: RFOTD

  • That's true for all rodents.  That's why they need wood and things to chew on.

    Good to know!

  • Seriously! When I was a kid we found a woodchuck skull in the woods. We pulled on its teeth and they just kept coming and coming out of its skull. Big long things going into the top of its head with only some of it showing.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.
