I've been looking for a new pair of brown boots. My requirements were:
So I saw these on Amazon and thought they looked pretty neat and modern and comfy:
I got them today, and they're nice, but I don't love them. They're rather tight at the calf (especially with jeans inside), although I think they might stretch out with wear. I like the style and the shape, but I'm not sure about the fabric/leather contrast (kinda hard to see in the pic, but t's really noticeable from the back). And I feel a little bit guilty about spending money at all, although these were a good deal on sale.
I'm thinking about sending them back -- but I can't find anything else that meets my reqirements that I like better. So what do you think? Are these nice enough to hang on to, or should I save my money and go without?
Re: Convince me to keep these...or return them. Haha.
If you're on your feet all day, I say keep them. I used to have some similar to these and I felt the same way. They were so comfy that I completely wore them out! I wasn't sure if I would like them since they weren't too dressy but I wore them all the time.
In fact, I might actually order some of those!

eh, I'd return them.
I don't love the sole.
I can't wear boots because of my gigantic calves. It's a shame.

I 100% agree with this.
Ditto. I have bought WAY too many things that I don't wear. I feel your pain though - I'm hard to fit in boots, and have spent too much time searching for the perfect pair. I don't even let myself order them anymore because I have to try them on. And I'm too lazy to return them half the time.
I've had good luck at DSW this year, though.
