Need Suggestions

For Valentine's Day, I am thinking of giving H a coupon book.  We aren't really doing gifts this year.  Typically we don't do V-day gifts because both of us have birthdays around the holidays (he is 12/25, I am 1/3), so we have just done gifts for Christmas and birthday.

Anyway, still thought I would put together something small and cute, so I picked up a few things of candy and a card at CVS.  Cards have gotten super expensive!  The first card I picked out cost $5.79.  I put that one back and found something cheaper.  Then I also thought about putting a coupon book together with stuff he can redeem them for.

So what suggestions do you have for a coupon?  Thanks!

Re: Need Suggestions

  • I'm not going to sugar coat, I think the coupon book thing is a little cliche.  Instead of giving him the chance to redeem coupons later, give him what every guy wants right now- a BJ.  You'll be wife of the year.
  • Sorry, I know you are going for cutesy but its kinda lame. Give him some good lovin without the coupon, he will like it just as much....

Or if you must be cutesy, give him a coupon for the BJ and write "Expiration Date: Tonight."  I'll bet he cashes it in.

yea, you could just put that in a card. That's better than a whole book.

  • Actually, H would think coupons are cute, otherwise I wouldn't be doing it.  Also, I was trying to think of things beyond just sex.  I was going to use some sex related ones, but was also going to put others in there too.

Apparently I am the only one who thinks it isn't lame and knows that my H would like it.

    Thanks for the feedback though.

You obviously know your husband better than I do so you can take my advice with a grain of salt.  I know my husband would love the redeem immediately coupon.  He's no good at delaying gratification.
