Work Dreams
Man, why do they always have a way of setting you up for a not-so-stellar day??? I had a really unpleasant dream/premonition last night about my lovely place of employment, and pretty much walked into Thunderdome today. Awesome. Maybe I should have just called out sick, cause this place is about to get super ugly, as we try to explain to the 83-year old boss that the project he sprung on us yesterday to have finished by Thursday has no chance in frack of being completed b/c we can't get him to focus long enough to approve anything. Can't wait for the cage match! This is going to be one of those days I wish I could go home after work and make friends with a comforting bottle of Malbec, me thinks...
Anyone else have one of those bad work or life premonition dreams they should have listened to???

There is candy, but it's in the honor box, and I specifically don't carry cash for that reason. Not that a nice Snickers bar wouldn't help! Instead, I'll stick with my Granny Smith apple for now. First mini meeting actually went much better than anticipated, although there's still plenty of time for a freakout in this long day.
