My friend lost her puppy in Greenville & is unsure of what steps to take in trying to find him. She has tried the neighbors and is going try the Humane Society & Animal Shelters, but does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks!
Re: Lost Puppy Help
Does CL have a lost and found section.
I would tell her to call the shelter once in the morning again at night. I would even stop there to check myself.
Signs around town.
Does Greenville have a daily newspaper or just weekly?
She should put signs up. Also tell her to call the shelters, Animal control, and HS daily to 2 x day. She should also contact all the vet offices near her, tell them she lost her dog and ask if they hear anything to contact her. Some vet offices will ask for a lost sign to put up.
I hope she finds him soon.
When I lost my dog last March, I put ads on Craigslist, went to the Humane Society and another local shelter (numerous times), put up signs everywhere, and put an ad in the paper.
The ad in the paper was what worked. GL.
