Are you exchanging gifts for V-day or just some extra 'alone' time? Anything special planned?

Besides V-day, H's birthday is on the 17th & our anniversary is on the 20th. I need some ideas.

We always go to Bonefish for a nice dinner the day before Valentine's day(so this Sunday) and might go to the fair too just to do something fun together! As for gifts, we usually exchange cards and I get him some boxers and a gc to somewhere. He usually gets me a card, flowers and some other kind of gc to either my spa or nail place :-)

We are just going out to dinner for Valentines. Our anniversary is on the 28th so we never really do anything for Valentines.

My BFF's husband's bday is on the 14th, they never celebrate Valentines day.

I love it that you and H have so many traditions! One year he is going to switch it up on you and you won't know what to think!

H and I usually exchange gifts for all the holidays. I am at a loss for what to get him this V-day because I cannot drive yet so I will need to get out of the house between now and Tuesday with someone besides H. Maybe someone else will post some good ideas!!

H and I are more into paying to go somewhere, do something special... create a special memory. I do ask that he writes me a nice card (or make one). None of this hallmark card saying and then a signed "Love, H."

(That being said.... a surprise gift is always nice... but I know it won't happen...we've already said "no gift exchanges.")

I am making DH a lobster dinner with asparagus on Sunday night (since we both work Monday) I just need ideas for a 2nd side dish and dessert (I'm thinking homemade Strawberry short cake)

DH and I don't do gifts for V-Day, only cards. I usually make one. I don't think we have ever gotten to go out to eat on V-Day (due to work), which is fine with me anyway, since every restaraunt is super busy. But we usually will go somewhere nice a few days before or after V-Day. This year he works a like 16 hour day, till 10 pm, and I have a training after work and won't get done until 8 pm.
