Long time no talk- Realtor question
Hey ladies, it's been a LOOONG time since I have been on here, how is everyone doing??
I have a realtor question for you. H and I are in the beginning stages of house-hunting. We are waiting to see if we get pre-approved. If we do, should the next step be looking for a realtor? We have been going to open houses just to look and get a feel for things we like.
If you think the next step is looking for a realtor, do you have one you rec? My Mom really liked her realtor that she has always used, Dave Overbeck with Huff. Any other suggestions?
TIA!

Re: Long time no talk- Realtor question
We did pretty much the same thing when we started house hunting. To choose a realtor we got a few recos and then interviewed them all and picked the one that we felt most comfortable with to represent our best interests.
I highly recommend Pat(ricia) Chrysler of Comey & Shepard. As first time home buyers she helped educate us through out the entire process and really felt like a friend in giving honest opinions.

My family has been using Mike Jordan from Jordan Realtors in Kenwood for over 30 years. He has always been absolutely wonderful to us. I've personally bought two houses and sold one to date, and he is going to be the listing agent on our current house when we list it in a few more weeks.
He is honest, doesn't sugar coat anything, and will work hard to get the house you are wanting. Not pushy and just a great guy all around. His office #513-791-0281 and they are located in Kenwood but will work all over town for you. GL!
We want to stay in Oak Hills school Dist, pref Delhi.
Thanks Laina, I can't promise we will go with your friend, but I wouldn't mind having the number as a back-up!
Oh in this case I will also throw in the names for 2 OHHS classmates that I know are now realtors. I can't speak for their real estate know how but they definitely know the area since they grew up there.

Our realtor right now is Anita Biehl with Hoeting (Bridgetown office at the 5 way). She is AWESOME!!!!! She is so attentive and super nice. We are looking in Oak Hills too. There isn't much out there right now, but she said lots of people list in March/April so we are hopeful!
Good Luck!!
