Those of you in metro Atlanta need to be aware that Michelle Obama is in town today and we've been told that major routes around Atlanta will be closed for portions as she moves about town.
GA 400 will closed while she travels to and from Northpoint Church in Alpharetta at 3:00. I-285 will be closed at 5:00 (yes, 5:00!!) as she travels back to Dobbins. Traffic will be majorly disrupted, and we were just made aware of these plans by the White House. Please pass this info along to your family and friends who may be driving in town.

Re: Michelle Obama in town today - TRAFFIC alerts.....
Fluuuuuuuck.
I've heard that a local visit is supposed to boost a presidents ratings (I understand this is just Michelle), but they always cause so much hassle I don't see how people get excited over it.
