DH's 30th birthday
DH will be 30 this year and I want to host a big bash for him at a bar or resturant. Any suggestions on places with private rooms?

What area of town?
The Belmont has a private room for parties, and it even has a seperate entrance and its own bar. Depending on how many people on your guest list, that might work. (The room isn't huge, although I attended a standing room only event in there with maybe 150 people.)
