Funny, weird. Not "haha."
I haven't been around much lately because I've been busy and slightly depressed. We found out last week that DH lost his job. The circumstances and the timing are crappy. We're scheduled for our big vacation this month, which we've been planning/paying on for 2 years. One difference between DH and I has ALWAYS been....he's very calm and laid back. Whereas I like to have a plan for almost everything! (and I did....until now.) He has a few prospects out there, which is good and reassuring. But, I find myself freaking out at least once per day.
Anyway, I just found it funny, DEFINITELY not "haha" funny, to poke my head in today and see these employment posts. Thinking of you ladies who are in the same boat...I feel your pain!

H and I are this way too. I'm like you and he keeps saying it's fine and we'll figure it out. Yes, eventually we'll figure it out, but what are we going to do nooooowwwww?

I am sorry that your DH lost his job as well! Seems like there are a few of us going through this whole thing right now. Are you and DH still planning on taking your vacation? I would definitely go since you guys have been saving for so long! I hope the propects your DH has out there lead to a new job really soon!

WTF? I've been busy all day at work and only now started catching up and I read all 3 posts back to back. This just sucks. I am so sorry! I'm glad to hear you're still taking the vacation and I really hope something else comes through soon.
The good news is we are in the new house and I like feeding people! Yay for free dinners!
