I applied to a couple jobs one or two weeks ago and I decided to follow up yesterday. The job I applied for at the hospital was reposted on the website I found it and found out my application status was "rejected." I tried to call them them today to find out more info but after ten minutes of automated menus, I finally found out, through an automated message, that there was nothing they could do for me.
So I called Bath and Body Works to follow up (my first choice anyway) and the manager said she hadn't looked at the apps yet. Well two hours later I get a call for an interview next week! YAY!!! I'm so excited. They're doing two days worth of interviews so I need to really be awesome. I think I need to go shopping for some good interview clothes...
Re: *crosses fingers*
Good luck!!!! And fingers are crossed.
Also, I think you should dig further to find out why the application was rejected at the hospital. Just incase for future references.

I want to, but I'm kind of stuck for the moment. It said wait three weeks even though I know my app was already rejected. The phone menus were all automated and I couldn't find a way to get to a human. The online submission form was missing, too. So short of going down there in person I'm not sure what I could do and I think showing up in person at this point would seem creepy and stalkerish. Do you think that would be weird?

Nicole has the right idea - but I don't think I would show up in person.
What kind of hospital position is it? Is there, like, a general info number where you can talk to a real person or something?
Either way, it probably won't matter since you'll rock the Bath and Body Works interview! GOOD LUCK!
