Kid-friendly open house @ Wildlife Rehab Center - Roseville

I received an email today announcing an open house event at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville this coming Sunday afternoon.  http://www.wrcmn.org/

It sounds like kind of a fun and cute thing to bring kids to--they get take a stuffed animal through the treatment process (get stitches, bandages, etc.).  Sounds like it could be valuable both for teaching kids about caring for wildlife, but also for helping kids to be more comfortable about doctors!

I haven't been to the open house event (though I have brought injured wildlife into the center before--they're a great facility).  Just thought I'd pass this info on, in case anyone is interested.

  • Oh fun! I hope they're still doing this in a few years. I used to volunteer for them in the mammal nursery and they do some really great work there. Lots of caring people.
