swim suits

Its been awhile since I've even looked for a suit (3 years). I bought some from VS a little while ago, but feel like all the business back there is hanging out. I'm pretty self conscious about my rear end, and I HATE picking my swim suit bottoms out of my butt every 2 seconds.

I used to buy boy short styles but those are harder to find now. Any recommendations for swim suits that have good coverage? I could just buy a little cover-up, but don't want to spend the extra money.

Re: swim suits

  • A lot of girls on the F&B board last year were raving over the Lands End Swimsuits. I can't speak from personal experience, but from what I hear they are great.

JCrew has some "shorts" styles right now, but I feel like those ride up and my butt cheeks actually hang out more. Their "briefs" style looks to have a good bit of back coverage.

  • My last 2 swim suits were from Lands End. Love them!! They're not cheap but I had the first one for nearly 5 years and the only reason I bought a new one was because I lost 30lbs and it didn't fit anymore.

  • VS can be tough b/c they have a lot of brazilian style bottoms, which don't work for me either b/c I have a big booty. I have had great luck with suits from Target. Have you tried there yet? The Mossimo brand is great.

  • I swear by my pinupgirlclothing.com suit. it's a 1-piece that reminds me of Marilyn Monroe. It's just a classic 50's design. they're pricey, but so worth it in my book if you want a longlasting, classy design
