I know you ladies have great taste, so I'm asking for some help!
My (cough) 20 year class reunion is coming up in August, and I want to make sure I look super cute, but I don't want to look like everyone else there. The first night is super casual, at a local bar for happy hour. The second night will be at a country club, and the reunion committee is saying casual there, too, but DH and I both think something along the lines of a sundress and sandals would be more appropriate to the setting.
Another requirement: I currently wear a size 22/24, and have been losing weight, but don't expect to be out of plus sizes by then, so please make your links big girl friendly.
It's not that I don't know how to shop, it's just that shopping is more fun with friends! ![]()
Re: Please help me shop for my class reunion
I just came across this site and they have some super cute stuff thats all plus size.
Simply Be
Seriously super cute stuff.
What about this . Would be super cute with some fun sandals and jewlery.
Or... this - its a little dressy and spendy but cute.
this top with a pair of jeans would be super cute and good for a bar.
this would be cute dressed up or down.
Definitely some cute dresses on the Simply Be site:

I liked these at Lane Bryant:
And at Macy's:
I am in LOVE with this Simply Be place! I think I'm going to go with this one: http://www.simplybe.com/-new-in/beach2beach-beach-dress/invt/kv076qh/
and these shoes:

And for happy hour...God, I hate that term and I don't even know why it bugs me! This top:

with dark wash straight cut jeans (closest I get to skinny jeans) . Now here's another couple of questions:
1. I suck out loud at accessorizing...any suggestions?
2. Is it wrong to wear short boots (like ankle booties with a peep toe) in late summer? I'm thinking something like this to wear with the brown top:

Thanks for your help, ladies!!
