As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I got thrown out of my office today...
'Cause I'm sick.
Sore throat, congestion, sick stomach, headache, shivers. Yay.
And I have court at 8:30 a.m. that I can't not go to. And at 10 a.m. But then I can come straight home and plop back into bed, though boss man said, "bring work home with you." Love to, buddy, but I'm not sure I can do it via osmosis while sleeping. 'Cause, y'know... when I'm barely able to keep my eyes open & feel like crap is probably not the best time to handle someone's file.

Two of us were there on time, two other attorneys were late... and then they were so booked up with arbitrations that it took 'til 12 for us to get a room with an arbitrator!
I left the courthouse at 12:30 and came straight back to my town, just stopping up the street at the supermarket for a minute to get some chicken soup (they make it good there, fresh), chocolate and rice pudding (sore throat), and a V-Day card for E. Oh, and a small platter of deviled eggs. I ate the eggs for lunch & ended up putting the soup in the fridge with the puddings; I just wasn't in the mood. Maybe for dinner.
I was very happy to find that E moved the wash to the dryer last night, without me even asking him to, so I could change into PJs. I'm in bed with tea & Sudafed.
