hey erica,
i shared your disney reviews with my bff and she is very appreciative and actually had a few questions:
where/how did you get groceries without renting a car? she is also staying in a villa with a kitchen and hoping to do breakfast at home and make a few meals there.
also, how do you make reservations for the breakfast with the princesses?
thanks!
Re: **weddingbelle**
oh sure! ask away!
so for food what i did was pack , in (dhs) suitcase , some dry foods. we were stayin right in disney and i know my options would be limited without a car- plus prices would be really high. i packed bread, pirates booty, a box of cereal, rasins, crackers a couple of cans of soup, jelly, cereal bars, mac and cheese, and some other random things. oh, i even brought my won laundry detergent and dish washer soap.
then, when i got down there we bought milk, water, butter, cheese, frozen waffles, and fruit. we were able to buy these things at the mimimart/gift shop type place at the hotel. it was perfect for breakfast each day, a few lunches/dinners, and snacks.
nicole suggested shipping food and supplies ahead of time ,and haveing the hotel hang on to them. i was short of time and it worked out fine packing those items in a suitcase. but that might be an option for you friend?
as for the reservations with the princesses, a travel agent at aaa made them for us. the recommend doing this 180 days in advance. all of the events we booked were filled up , and we went during an off season. there has to be a number she could call if she is not using a travel agent. the best thing we did was the princess breakfast at the castle ( i think they also offer a lunch and a dinner with the princess in the castle too). the food was way better there than at epcot.
i hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else!
also one day we got back late and the kids were tired so we ordered take out from an italian pizza place called flippers. it was good. we got a pizza, salad and pasta. just wanted to pass that along!
