Just got back from my ultrasound and....
the baby is 8 lbs, 11 oz according to the calculations. I had the same u/s tech at 31 weeks and she is awesome. I am hoping her measurements are right. It's kinda hard to tell because at this late in the pregnancy there is a lot of interference. She measured everything 3 or 4 times. I know these u/s can be off so the baby could be bigger or smaller. More often you hear smaller so that is what I'm hoping for! I have a dr appt next Wednesday so now there is more waiting. At my appt yesterday he was happy that I was 1.5 cm dilated and that her head is down really low. I didn't think that was a big deal, but I guess he was thinking she'd be up really high and I wouldn't be dilated because I haven't been feeling any contractions. Hopefully at worst I will get induced, but I am willing to try every OWT to go into labor on my own! It's getting so close!! I am so excited to meet our baby girl!!

Really?!?! Holy crap, that's why he was telling me he hoped I made it through the weekend. I thought that he was just joking, lol! I have to work tonight so hopefully something will happen then. I can't think of a better place to be if my water breaks!
I will just have to go up to the 4th floor, lol!
I still have stuff to do before she arrives! Guess I better go pack that hospital bag, just in case!

Have you guys decided on names? Or are you keeping that to yourselves until she arrives? We decided not to tell anyone our names, mostly because I didn't want to hear people's opinions!

I *think* we have decided on a name. For the longest time we haven't agreed, but we have each been calling her by the name we want and I think we might end up with her first name as H's choice and middle name as my choice. They sound nice together. We're keeping it a secret though!
I don't want to hear people's opinions right now either! I think we'll make the final decision after she is born. 
I am kind of growing weary of the attention. I liked it earlier in my pregnancy, and now I want people to just leave me alone. For being 37 weeks I am really not all that uncomfortable but I just don't feeling like talking to strangers about it. I am especially sick of the twins comments. Not a single day goes by where I don't hear it. I don't even want to go out in public sometimes because I know what I'll be hearing.
She is naming the baby after me. Jenn already told me they would name her after me because I AM AWESOME. Her name will either be my s/n or my IRL name.
Glad the ultrasound went well! I hope that you go into labor on your own soon.
FWIW - I've been walking around 2cm dilated since 34 weeks (haven't been checked since), and every week the Midwives tell me her head is "even lower than last week." (sigh) I'm still here. I hope you have better luck than me in the going into labor department!
I made it to 40 weeks with ZERO progress! So I understand how frustrated you feel!
