I actually look halfway decent today. But it's because I'm going to a funeral
black pencil skirt (BR, so old I don't ever remember ever buying or wearing it, it was in the back of my closet)
white shirt with a ruffle on the neckline (AT Loft)
navy cardigan with a corsage embellishment (AT Loft)
black heels (nine west)
plain nude pantyhose
jewelry: gold and jade necklace and matching bracelet (given to me by the woman who's funeral it is), pearl stud, normal rings
I may switch the cardigan for a black wool jacket later, I can't decide which looks better. And this outfit is unfortunately not great, the skirt and cardigan are too small so I'm constantly tugging. I own no funeral-appropriate clothes.
On the plus side, while digging around in my closet last night, I found the dress I'm wearing for Valentine's day dinner- a 10 year old dark red taffeta tea-length v-neck sleeveless dress. I just need to take it in at the waist a bit before Monday, but it's very classic so don't look like I bought it in 2001.
