FFC - lets wake this place up ladies!
Re: FFC - lets wake this place up ladies!
The horridness of triplet strollers makes me feel vaguely better about the possibility of us having twins. Ridicoulously obscure logic.
One of my friends is being induced tonight. My SIL is trying to get our group of ladies together to visit either tomorrow night or Saturday morning. I don't really want to visit in the hospital because it's uncomfortable when it isn't someone I am really close to. The hospital she chose is also about an hour away and I have a lot of other stuff I need to do this weekend. I know this makes me seem selfish and mean, so I'm going. I'm really excited and happy for them, I'm just really uncomfortable with it.
Also, I kind of feel like this is enforcing the precedent and all my friends are going to be really pissed when I tell them to not come see me in the hospital if I ever have a kid.

We are having a "sweets & treats" party on V-day at work. We've been asked to bring in cakes, trifolds, brownies on top of having a chocolate fountain and having to bring in cookies, pretzels, fruit, etc for that. I mean isn't a chocolate fountain enough sweets & treats? And this is ffc, right? There are not many in our office that can afford the whole day of temptations of all day "grazing." I mean hello, how about some support for those that are doing biggest loser.
I'm bringing in a veggie tray. Office parties drive me crazy.
an hour away seems so far to choose to deliver. I know I have an odd amount of options based on where we live (I'm basically picking between 4 level 3 NICU equipped hospitalss at the moment, all with 30 min of me with traffic), but still, unless you live in the country...
No one except immediate family is invited to the hospital as far as I am concerned!
I think she chose it because it is in her hometown and I assume she never changed doctors when she moved. But, with two great hospitals (one with one of the best NICUs in the midwest) in town and the weather being so unpredictable since it's winter, I'm surprised she hasn't switched.

I bought a pair of red flats to wear tonight to a fundraiser that is Valentine's Day themed and I'll wear them Monday as well, but not sure how much after that... DH and I made a pack of no more shoes last month till summer... UM oops
Also I'm not going to a friends baby shower b/c we are going skiing this weekend I don't have to go skiing I choose to so I'd have a reason not to go.
I am glad that I am not the only one that feels this way at times.
