There was once a Special K poster in my gym change room that used "you're" properly in the first part of the sentence and then "your" when it should have been "you're" again in the second part. Really? It's the same sentence.

Oh, this kind of stuff really gets under my skin. I'm a natural born editor and I cannot stand when I see "professionally" written items with typos like that. I have to be honest that I had to read the West "Virgina" thing a few times before it caught my eye though. Funny enough, my dad has a nice throw blanket he got in Virginia and we just recently noticed the big capital letters on it spell "VIRGINA". He made the right decision to put it up in his attic. :-D

One of the local news stations in the morning has a bit they do before and/or after commercial breaks basically saying (in voiceover), "Thanks for friending us on Facebook. Here's what some of you are saying about our morning news team!" and then you see typing on the screen quoting people. But at the bottom of the screen it says, "Here's what your saying!"

I mean, granted, it's not one of the big three stations, but come on! During the news? And that spot has been running for a good 2 months at least now.
