Whatcha doin this weekend?? WHEEEE!!

Sorry. I'm in a wicked awesome mood. I was supposed to work a 12-hour shift today and was granted a "holiday" from hospital staffing so I didn't have to come in. If I had worked, I would have put in 63 hours in the past 7 days. I'm EXTATIC. Plus, this gives me a 4-day weekend! WOOT!

Got some fun plans this weekend...

Saturday: DH is planning our V-day celebration. He's making a nice breakfast for us, we're heading down to the Science Museum to see the Hubble movie and take in the museum. We're doing dinner at our favorite St. Paul restaurant, Great Waters, and then heading to AMC to take in True Grit (finally). Followed up by late-night lattes @ Starbucks!

Sunday: church, my scheduled 6-mile run OUTSIDE due to the upper 30's we're expecting, and then we're cooking a nice dinner together!

Haven't seen the hubs in over a week due to school and work so I'm bouncing off the walls with excitement!

How about you?

  • Today is Skylar's birthday so going out to supper with her and DH.

Tomorrow is her b-day party.  TEN 13 year old girls doing a sleepover!  (Lord help me!!)

Saturday work until noon while Brent gets all the girls home.  His b-day Saturday so tons of friends and family coming over for a taco bar.

Sunday...clean up and then NOTHING other than to reunite my a$s with my couch cushion.

Monday, pack for our trip.  We leave Friday for 10 days.

  • I have tomorrow off, yay! I am going to get a manicure and then just hang out at home with DH.

Saturday- going to lunch with some old girlfriends that I have not seen in over 5 years. Then we have bowling. After bowling my friends are taking me out for my birthday dinner.

Sunday- Old roommate is stopping by and then going to my parents for Sunday dinner (we go there every Sunday).

Nothing too exciting but I am still looking forward to a break after working 11 days in a row!

saturday: helping a friend move then dinner at crave and a house party with friends

sunday: possibly driving to winona for the last game of my son's OOT hockey tourney. homework. big fun, i know.

  • Not much for us. DH is on-call so has to be close to home/truck. And it never fails if I plan something while on-call he gets called.

So just hanging out. My Dad is coming over Sunday and were going sledding.

  • Your Saturday sounds awesome! And holy hours this week!

Nothing too exciting for us this weekend, but we have a lot of things to get done at home.

Saturday: working the therapy job until 1:30, then home to keep working on the nursery; possibly going out to dinner that night.

Sunday: more nursery organizing, cleaning the house, prepping what I can for V-day dinner at home on Monday (beef wellington, mashed potatoes, asparagus or green beans and red velvet whoopie pies or caramel peanut topped brownie cake).

That sounds like fun!  I think H and I are just going to do dinner and a movie on Sat night to celebrate.  I really want to see True Grit too.

  • Saturday:  I have to work ALL DAY :(  8am - 10pm.  Not fun.  DH is going to take DD over to the ILs and he is going to help them with house work since his mom only has one functional leg at the moment.

Sunday:  Church, nap, and then back to church.  Our church is doing a Blessing of Marriage service in the evening and then some high school honor society students are providing 3 hours of childcare for free!!  We are going to go out to dinner with another couple from our church for a fun adult evening.

Monday: Low key dinner at home.  Nothing fun and fancy since we now have to sock $1000 into fixing our furnace :P  No cute watch for me or iPod Nano for DH.  I hate when gift giving is ruined :(

  • DH's grandpa died last Friday and the funeral is tomorrow:(  We will likely be spending time with his family this weekend.  There are some out of state family members we want to see that are here now.

  • Sounds like fun. Hubble is fantastic. We're members of the museum (DH wanted it the weekend he moved here, literally the first weeekend) so we're probably going to see an Omnifest film. I 've heard como park is good in the winter so we might check that out.
  • I am spending time with my brand new baby and my DH. We are still trying to find out how to take care of a newborn, ourselves and get sleep :)
