For the mass on her head. It is in fact a dermoid cyst. Which is good...
The surgeon was great and even though Lucy is terrified of Dr's / nurses , the surgeon sat down and interacted with her and by the end Lucy was playing with her and having a great time.
She advised us to get it removed ( she said if it was one of her kids she would) because if it got infected it would need to be removed or if it got hit/burst and then got infected it would also need to be removed and would be a worse surgery.
It will be about a 15 min surgery but she will need to go under general anesthesia since they can't have her moving around. She won't be able to eat before hand so they will schedule her early in the AM. It will be an outpatient surgery.
The schedulers will call and we'll decide when we want it done so I will update when that happens.
Thanks for the T&P and when the surgery comes around I'm sure I'll be asking for more.
